Nobody matched the six numbers needed for the jackpot in last night’s huge Powerball drawing, pushing the top prize for Saturday’s game to an estimated $875 million.

As you might imagine, ticket sales have been a hot commodity as many flock to get a chance at winning the prize.

Jesus works at a downtown Minneapolis convenience store and says his customers are dreaming big, hoping for “an early retirement.”

“I’d go crazy,” Jesus said when asked what he would do if he won the jackpot.

Monica, who also works at a busy downtown Minneapolis convenience store, shared that almost everyone who comes in is getting a ticket.

“They all say, ‘I can’t win if I don’t buy a ticket,’” Monica said. “That’s true. They can’t.”

The last time anyone bought a ticket that matched all of the Powerball numbers was April 19th.

Minnesota has had five $50,000 Powerball winners this past week alone.

The winner on Saturday would bring home a lump sum payment of $441.9 million before taxes took a hefty chunk of the winnings. Winners can also choose to take the jackpot in a yearly payment over 30 years, which pays out the entirety of the $875 million prize.

Keep in mind your odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are about 1 in 292 million.
