Popeyes is looking to appease the masses, launching a new menu option after being inspired by the TikTok trend “Girl Dinner,” in which users show an array of snacks that they have instead of an actual meal.
The chicken chain is now launching its own version of “Girl Dinner,” allowing customers to choose a meal that includes only its side dishes.
The price of the “Girl Dinner” meal depends on the items ordered, as hungry faces can choose from red beans and rice, cajun fries, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, biscuits, and mac and cheese.
The fast food chain has gone all out on its new offering, even dedicating a section to it on its website, along with all its other offerings.
In a statement announcing the new meal choice, Popeyes said it was offering “options packed with robust Cajun flavors that are made with the same slow, time-honored, homemade traditions of Southern cooking that the brand started in 1972.”
The chain also released its own video on TikTok using the trending sound.
