The Minnesota Vikings announced that Rick Dennison will be moved to the position of senior offensive advisor for the upcoming season. This news comes just a week after it was announced that Phil Rauscher would be taking over as the offensive line coach.
Dennison's departure from the position was due to his choice to not be vaccinated, something the NFL requires of all coaches this season.
When asked about Dennison's decision not to take the vaccine, Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman was short and to the point.
"I'm not going to talk about Rick Dennison's medical situation," he said.
As for now, the Vikings will move forward with Rauscher as the offensive line coach and Ben Steele as the assistant offensive line coach.
