Molson Coors announced Friday they will no longer make 3.2 beer.
According to WCCO radio political insider Blois Olson, the beer maker sent a letter to Minnesota legislative leaders explaining their decision.
With Molson Coors' decision, 3.2 beer options are further limited for stores that sell beer in Minnesota.
Minnesota is the lone state in the US required to sell 3.2 beer.
Molson Coors officials say their total 3.2 beer business volume decreased by 98 percent through Jan. 1, 2021, leading them to their decision.
