On January 1, 2022, Minnesota's minimum wage rises to $10.33 an hour for large companies.
For employers in the state that have annual revenues below $500,000, the new minimum wage is $8.42 an hour.
The new minimum wages do not apply in Minneapolis or St. Paul, which already have their own rates.
In Minneapolis, the minimum wage rises to $15 an hour for large companies, $15.50 an hour for others.
The minimum wage in St. Paul remains $12.50 and $10, and will go up halfway through 2022.
