There's been an arrest connected to the fatal shooting of a teenager at a weekend graduation party in Woodbury.
The man charged in connection with the death of 14-year-old Demaris Ekdahl is the boy's stepfather.
Police say Keith Dawson is charged with several felonies, but he was not identified as the shooter that killed the boy.
Witnesses told investigators that someone inside the vehicle Dawson was driving started the shooting on the 61-hundred block of Edgewood Avenue.
Dawson initially told police he drove to the party only after he heard Demaris had been shot.
He then admitted to his role in the shooting after he was told investigators found shell casings in his vehicle, as well as presenting him with other evidence about the incident.
Dawson eventually said he drove to the party when he heard his kids were being harassed, and fired shots to scare those involved.
That's when someone returned fire, and Ekdahl was hit.
