Allen: Bills were 'dangerous team' in blowout win over Seahawks

Bills quarterback Josh Allen addressed the media following Buffalo's 31-10 victory at Lumen Field.

Seattle, Wash. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - Despite being one of the top teams in the AFC once again this season, one of the main issues for the Buffalo Bills has been playing a full 60-minute game.

However, the Bills absolutely dominated the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday from start-to-finish in a convincing 31-10 victory at Lumen Field.

The Bills defense came out firing, stuffing the Seahawks with two-straight three-and-out drives, while the Buffalo offense articulated a 14-play opening touchdown drive, capped with a two-yard touchdown pass from Josh Allen to rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman.

The Seahawks offense, led by quarterback Geno Smith, did not have any answers to what the Bills defense threw at them. It took Seattle until the beginning of the second quarter to record a single first down, and more than three quarters of action to find the end zone for seven points.

The Seahawks did have an opportunity to jump a Bills' mistakes in the second quarter. After Allen threw his first interception of the season, it gave Seattle a goal-to-go situation, and a chance to take the lead.

However, the Buffalo defense stood tall, forcing a turnover on downs after sacking Smith on 4th-and-goal, with help from a slippery turf in the rainy Seattle conditions.

Allen and the Buffalo offense continued to ride high in the second half, increasing their lead to 31-3 early in the fourth quarter and putting the game on ice.

James Cook singlehandedly torched the Seattle defense on the ground, cashing in two second half rushing touchdowns with 111 rushing yards.

Allen knew it was important on Sunday to get off to a fast start, and play a full 60 minutes of football against this Seattle group.

"It was great. [We] got off to a quick start. First drive, go down there and get points, something that we've talked about repetitively over the course last couple weeks. Felt good to go out there and get it done," said Allen following the win during his postgame press conference with the media. "First play, Dawson [Knox] making a big, big play for us, and really starting us off the right way."

"I know we have some motions and shifts, but again, it takes guys learning it and understanding it. But going out there and executing at a high level, everybody knows their spots, and when you've got that, you got a dangerous team."
