Green Bay, Wis. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - With their final selection in the 2025 NFL Draft at the 240th overall pick, the Buffalo Bills have taken a wide receiver, selecting Kaden Prather out of the University of Maryland.
Prather finished his collegiate career by reeling in 162 catches for 1,966 yards and 12 touchdowns in 48 games. This was split between his time at West Virginia University from 2021-22 and Maryland from 2023-24.
During Prather's two years at Maryland, the 6-foot-3, 204-pound wideout was able to tally 98 receptions for 1,290 yards and nine touchdowns.
Here is what NFL analyst Lance Zierlein had to say about Prather:
"Outside receiver with size and speed to create advantages downfield. Prather is not explosive - though he builds and carries speed to create deep windows - and needs to do a better job of finishing routes and catches. He’s too leggy and tight-hipped to beat man coverage over the first two levels and he’s not a natural pass catcher in traffic. Prather is a niche option as a field-stretcher with good height, weight and speed, but he might need to prove he can play special teams to give himself a legitimate roster shot."
