East Rutherford, N.J. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills were trying to extend their winning streak to five games on Sunday, as they took on the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. However, it was the Jets who came away victorious, 20-17, improving to 6-3 on the year.

The Bills played a very uncharacteristic game, once again, that saw quarterback Josh Allen throw two interceptions and have an overall bad day through the air.

The Bills received the ball on a botched opening kickoff at their own 44-yard line to start this game. However, they were unable to do anything with it after Allen was picked off by Jets cornerback Jordan Whitehead.

The Jets were unable to make anything work on their first drive and suffered their first three-and-out of the game.

Buffalo then started on their own 33-yard line and took complete control of the drive. Between Allen and running backs Devin Singletary and James Cook, the Bills ran their way all the way down to the Jets' one-yard line. Allen pushed his way through from one-yard out for a touchdown that gave the Bills a 7-0 lead.

The Jets were able to get a bit going on their next drive, as quarterback Zach Wilson drove his team past midfield, but the offense came up short on third down. That brought out kicker Greg Zuerlein, who was able to convert a 53-yard field goal attempt.

Following a punt from each team, the Bills set out from their own seven-yard line on their second drive of the second quarter. Allen found wide receiver Stefon Diggs three separate times on this drive before running it himself for a touchdown yet again, this time from 36 yards out.

The Jets came back on their next drive with a purpose. New York converted on third down twice and fourth down once, driving 75 yards in about six minutes. Running back Michael Carter capped off the drive with a six-yard touchdown run for his team's first touchdown of the game.

With just 32 seconds to go in the half, the Bills offense tried to do what they could to score before halftime. Allen and the offense got to the Jets' 37-yard line before kicked Tyler Bass was called on for a 55-yard field goal attempt. However, his kick missed wide-right, as the score remained 14-10, Buffalo, going into halftime.

Between a Jets fumble, a Bills interception, and a Skycam malfunction, the start of the second half was a wild one.

Jets cornerback Sauce Gardener picked off Allen for Allen's second interception of the day, which allowed Wilson and the Jets offense to make quick work of the short field. Running back James Robinson finished the drive with a six-yard touchdown run that gave the Jets a 17-14 in the third quarter.

Allen and the Bills offense started off the fourth quarter on the right track. Cook was a big part of the offense, pushing the ball down the field to the Jets' 33-yard line. After failing to convert on third down again, Bass was called into action for a 51-yard attempt that was good, which tied the game at 17-17.

Following Bass' field goal, both teams traded punts, leading to the Jets having a huge drive down the field late in the fourth quarter. Three big runs from Robinson and Carter led to a lot of time off the clock for New York.

After failing to convert on third down after three big stops from the Bills defense, Zuerlein was called upon again and nailed a 28-yard field to go up 20-17 with just 1:43 to go in the fourth quarter.

Allen and the Bills offense were unable to get anything going with the time remaining, despite their best efforts. Out of time and timeouts, the Bills went for it all on a 4th-and-21, but wide receiver Gabe Davis couldn't reel in a deep ball from Allen.

The Jets ran out the remaining 33 seconds of time on the clock to win, 20-17.
