Orchard Park, NY (WGR) - The Buffalo Bills have traded center Sedrick Van Pran-Granger to the Indianapolis Colts, along with a swap of draft picks, the team announced on Sunday.
Originally a fifth round pick by the Bills in 2024 out of Georgia, Van Pran-Granger has been a backup center to Connor McGovern since entering the league.
The Bills re-signed McGovern to a new, multi-year contract this off-season, and also signed veteran Lloyd Cushenberry III to a free agent deal, leaving Van Pran-Granger fighting for a roster spot.
A league source has confirmed to WGR that the seventh round choice the Bills are sending back to Indianapolis is their own selection. They still hold the Las Vegas Raiders seventh round choice in next year‘s draft, which they acquired in a draft-day trade this year.
All teams must be down to 53 players on their active roster by 6 p.m. ET Sunday.
