Pittsford, NY (WGR550) - Even just a little more rain couldn't but a damper on the spirit of the fans who came out to see the Buffalo Bills for their final training camp practice of 2026 here at St. John Fisher University.

In what was a much shorter camp than had been in the past, the Bills held their seventh and final session of this camp Friday morning before heading back to Orchard Park for their Return of the Blue & Red open practice at brand new Highmark Stadium.

Second-year corner back Maxwell Harrison did not participate on Friday. No specific injury was disclosed by head coach Joe Brady, who said Hairston is fine and they just wanted to be precautionary with him.

Left tackle Dion Dawkins got a veteran rest day.

It was a really good day for wide receiver Joshua Palmer, who has impressed throughout camp. Palmer continued to make plays in the passing game, running crisp routes and grabbing contested catches.

He specifically had one contested catch over top of cornerback Dee Alford. Alfrod came down hard to the ground and had to be tended to by athletic trainers. He took a trip to the medical tent but eventually came back to the field and resumed practicing.

The team will hold their annual Return of the Blue & Red open practice Saturday at Highmark Stadium. It will be the first event inside the new facility. Practice is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.. Head coach Joe Brady will speak to the media after the session.

The Bills have two years remaining on their current training camp contract with St. John Fisher University and will return in 2027.
