Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - After the great news of no new injuries after the Buffalo Bills, 39-34 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, a surprising name appears on the Thursday injury report.

As the Bills get prepared to fight for the AFC East title on Sunday against the New England Patriots, Christian Benford was added to the Thursday injury report.

It was after practice when Benford was seen in a short walking boot. Benford has been the a difference maker in the last two games for the Bills with two defensive touchdowns and earning Player of the Week accolades against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The only other new injury on the report was backup quarterback Mitchell Trubisky who did not practice with an illness. Tight end Dawson Knox also returned to practice in full after not practicing on Wednesday with a personal matter.

Sal Capaccio will be joined by Sean McDermott on "Northtown Automotive The Extra Point Show" on Friday to get an update on the injury report before the Bills matchup against the Patriots.
