Just three days before the Bills are set to take on the Indianapolis Colts in the first game of the 2020 NFL Playoffs, Buffalo is dealing with injuries to three different wide receivers.
Neither Cole Beasley (knee) nor Stefon Diggs (oblique) practiced on Wednesday, and Isaiah McKenzie was limited. Beasley missed last week’s regular season finale against the Miami Dolphins with his knee injury.
Diggs was listed as a limited participant for Tuesday’s practice, which was an estimation since the team only held a walk-through. However, he did a Zoom conference call with the media after practice on Wednesday and indicated he will be fine.
Diggs lead the entire National Football League this season with 127 receptions and 1,535 yards.
As for McKenzie, he’s now been limited for two straight days with an ankle injury.
Since the game will be played on Saturday, the final injury report for the week will come out on Thursday, along with an official game status for each player.
The Colts also have several key players listed on their injury report, including defensioev end DeForest Buckner (ankle) and cornerback Rock Ya-Sin (concussion). Neither have practiced this week. However, they’ve held walk-throughs both Tuesday and Wednesday, so it’s all just an estimation.
