Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - It’s not an ideal situation for the Buffalo Bills to be without two of their main defensive tackles before playing the Tennessee Titans on "Monday Night Football".

However, that was the case on Wednesday when both Ed Oliver and Tim Settle missed practice with injuries.

Oliver is dealing with an ankle injury he suffered in Thursday night’s 31–10 win over the Los Angeles Rams. As for Settle, he was also injured in the game, but his injury is undisclosed at this time.

The first injury report of the week won’t be released until Thursday.

Head coach Sean McDermott told reporters before practice on Wednesday that he would take it one day at a time with the two players and see where it goes.

In the meantime, the team signed Prince Emili to the practice squad, presumably for insurance in case either player can’t go on Monday night, but also to have enough bodies at practice throughout the week.

Settle was actually on the field during the session outside the ADPRO Sports Training Center, but did not participate. He was walking around with his position group, as they went through drills during the media-open portion of practice.

Oliver, however, was not seen at all.

The Titans come to Buffalo next week with one of the best running backs in the league in Derrick Henry. The 28-year-old ran for 143 yards and three touchdowns last season against the Bills, averaging 7.3 yards per-carry when the two teams met in Nashville.

The Bills will be back on the practice field on Thursday morning, which will be the next chance to see if either Oliver or Settle are participating.
