Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - Several members of the Buffalo Bills secondary missed practice on Wednesday with various ailments, as the team gets set to play the high-flying Miami Dolphins offense on Sunday at Highmark Stadium.
Safeties Micah Hyde (hamstring) and Jordan Poyer (knee soreness), along with cornerback Siran Neal (ankle) all set out Wednesday’s session. Meanwhile, cornerback Taron Johnson was limited with a hip injury.
In addition to those defensive backs, defensive end Leonard Floyd (ankle) and offensive lineman Ryan Bates (ankle) missed practice, as well.
During Monday’s weekly Zoom call with the media, head coach Sean McDermott only mentioned Bates as someone who is dealing with an injury. Wednesday is often a day for any players dealing with bumps and bruises to get an extra day of rest.
