Many around the country were in disbelief after 13 Buffalo residents were shot during Saturday's horrific hate crime committed by Payton Gendron, leaving 10 people dead.
The tragic shooting caused a reaction from many in the Buffalo Bills locker room.
Micah Hyde held his second charity softball game on Sunday at Sahlen Field - home of the Toronto Blue Jays' Triple-A affiliate Buffalo Bisons - just 24 hours after the shooting, despite having discussions of postponing the event. Hyde told reporters that he will pledge to a part of the proceeds made at the softball game to the families of the victims.

Josh Allen was also on-hand for the event, where he had a a lot to say regarding the tragedy that took place at the Tops Friendly Market on Jefferson Avenue.
Immediately following the shooting, Allen, who said he was flying back from his sister graduation, went to Twitter to express how heartbroken he is for the families involved and the City of Buffalo.
After winning the Home Run Derby at Hyde's charity event, Allen talked to reporters, where he said the Bills will be in the practice facility on Monday and will set aside some time to discuss what their plans are to help out the families involved in the despicable hate crime.
"You never think it's going to happen in your community," he said Sunday. "When it does, it hits home. I was sick to my stomach all day [Saturday]... it was just gut-wrenching, It really is.
"Again, we'll talk as a team [Monday] and kind of figure out what we want to do, but there's no doubt that we're going to do something."
Despite such a sad backdrop to the event, Hyde's softball game drew more than 10,000 people to Sahlen Field, raising more than $200,000. Some of the other Bills players that were at the event included Dawson Knox, Tre’Davious White, and Jordan Poyer.
