When a new head coach is hired by a team in the National Football League, they often bring aboard assistant coaches they are familiar with and have worked with in the past.
It appears that's the case with former Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, as he starts to form his staff as the new head coach of the New York Giants.
According to various media reports, Daboll has hired Bills offensive line coach Bobby Johnson to join him in New Jersey.
Tim Graham of The Athletic notes that Johnson's contract was up, which allows him to make a lateral move without the Bills blocking him from moving on.
Johnson has been the Bills' offensive line coach since 2019.
