Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills potentially have some drama with the league year set to start Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET.
It was originally reported on Tuesday that Washington Commanders running back J.D. McKissic was set to join the Bills, but it seems he has had a change of heart.
ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter is reporting that the two-year, $7 million deal that the Bills offered will not be accepted, and McKissic will instead be returning to Washington for the same compensation.
Schefter added some background to McKissic's decision, saying that Washington didn’t initially offer him a deal until he agreed to one in Buffalo, per his agents. Once McKissic heard Washington was willing to match the offer, he didn’t want to leave.
McKissic has changed his mind and will be returning to Washington
