Greg Rousseau loved his introduction to "Bills Mafia."

He can only imagine what it will be like when the games count for real.

In an interview on Wednesday during the "Howard and Jeremy Show," Rousseau said it was electric to play at Highmark Stadium for the first time last Saturday.

“It was lit for sure,” Rousseau said with Jeremy White and Sal Capaccio. “It was just a preseason game, but the fans were out there, and it was steaming hot. They’re having me, we’re having fun. It was a great day for everybody.”

The Bills defeated the Packers, 19-0 in their preseason finale in Orchard Park.

Rousseau was introduced to "Bills Mafia" before Buffalo selected him with the 30th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. His mother lived in the city for four or five years.

After the draft, Rousseau said on WGR he always wanted to wind up in Buffalo.

“I couldn’t be any happier,” he said in April during the "Howard and Jeremy Show." “That is the one place I really wanted to go. I’m genuinely saying this.”

Rousseau will receive another homecoming during the second week of the season, when the Bills travel down to Miami for a matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Sept. 19. Rousseau played his college home games at Hard Rock Stadium for the University of Miami.

"It’s going to be dope,” he said. “Playing at Hard Rock again. I’m definitely going to have a lot of family at the game. It’s going to be great; it’s going to be awesome.”

It will also be a thrill for Rousseau to hear his name called on the radio broadcasts — something he also experienced in Miami. WGR proudly announced Wednesday it will remain the flagship station for the Bills for years to come.

“It was really cool to hear the announcers announce for you, because they have a bias towards you when you make a play,” Rousseau said. “It was pretty dope.”

It will be dope to see Rousseau get out there and play this season.
