The Buffalo Bills are one of 12 NFL clubs without a Super Bowl victory.

However, one NFL analyst thinks they’re the most likely team to end their drought.

In a new column for NFL.com, Adam Schein spells out the case for Buffalo’s dominance this season. For starters, the Bills are returning their entire nucleus, while adding veteran wideout Emmanuel Sanders. That continuity stretches to the coaching staff, as head coach Sean McDermott was able to keep both of his coordinators: Brian Daboll and Leslie Frazier.

That means the scene is set for Josh Allen to further blossom into one of the league’s best quarterbacks. The 2018 first round pick has improved every season, finishing second in MVP voting for the 2020 campaign. He had an incredible 37:10 touchdown-to-interception ratio, to go along with eight more rushing scores and even a receiving touchdown.

To put it simply: Allen is a star. He also has the league’s best wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, who led the NFL in receptions and yards in 2020.

Buffalo’s defense took a small step back last season, but it still features numerous playmakers. It’s hard to find a better safety tandem than Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde. Tre’Davious White, Matt Milano and Tremaine Edwards are also difference makers.

Up front, the Bills drafted pass-rushers with their first two picks, selecting Greg Rousseau and Carlos "Boogie" Basham. They appear primed to give Jerry Hughes additional support in the front-seven.

All of that means the Bills are ready to build on their AFC Championship appearance. Schein gives the Cleveland Browns the second-best chance to end their drought, followed by the Tennessee Titans.

While both teams made the playoffs last season, they, arguably, fall short of the Bills.

Look no further than the quarterback position. Allen is better than Baker Mayfield, as good as the former Heisman Trophy winner is. The Bills quarterback is also substantially better than Ryan Tannehill.

All offseason long, the conversation in Orchard Park has been centered around a Super Bowl run. When Sanders met his teammates for the first time, he said he came to Buffalo to win another ring.

The Bills have every reason to think they’ll be raising the Lombardi Trophy this February in Los Angeles.
