Buffalo Bills All-Pro wide receiver Stefon Diggs had seven catches for 85 yards in a crucial win this past week over the New England Patriots, but it's how he endeared himself to the fans in Foxborough that made headlines.
After catching a touchdown pass from Josh Allen in the second quarter of an eventual 33-21 victory, Diggs took time to have a word with five Patriots fans at Gillette Stadium. One interpretation of what he said to them was that, well, he was making a request for the fans "to be quiet."

The 28-year-old wideout was asked what he said to the fans on Thursday, and shared a funny interaction that he had with his mother about the incident:
"I actually had a quick talk with my mom after the game, she actually asked to see what I said and if I was embarrassing her on TV," Diggs said on "The Pat McAfee Show". "And I said 'Mom, I was doing my best Oprah Winfrey impression. You know, how she said, you get a car, you get a car, you get a car, you get a car...' There we go."
The Bills and Patriots have a budding rivalry, having split their two regular season games this season. Both teams are 9-6, but after last Sunday's victory, the Bills own the tiebreaker over the Patriots in the AFC East. The Patriots now hold the AFC's second Wild Card spot.
Certainly, it would be fun to see the two foes play each other a third time in the postseason.
