Orchard Park, NY (WGR550) - Attendance and any injuries that occur or players recovering from them are usually the main storylines at Organized Team Activities this time of year.
But when the Buffalo Bills held their one and only OTA this week that was open to the media on Tuesday, something else really interesting was immediately noticeable.
Travis Clayton, who was selected in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft and has spent the last two seasons as on offensive lineman, was practicing with the defense.
A notable development from Bills OTAs today: OL Travis Clayton was working with the DL. Here he is (67)….. along with Ed Oliver (who participated today) and other DL: pic.twitter.com/qaiWxvP2Rt

Clayton, from the United Kingdom, is part of the International Pathways Program. Prior to being selected by the Bills, his only American football experience was as part of the NFL Academy in 2019. He did not play any traditional North American college football.
The 6’7”, 301 pound Clayton has spent his first two pro seasons on the Bills practice squad. He has yet to suit up for an NFL game.
Clayton still wore his number 67, but on Tuesday it was a blue jersey as part of the defense and not an offensive white jersey.
The team will hold a three-day mandatory minicamp next week. We’ll see then if Clayton remains on the defensive side of the football.
