    Rob Jones

Rob Jones is an Upstate South Carolina native, raised in Oconee County. He is a graduate of the Broadcasting program at Tri-County Technical College. He went on to study at Anderson University and at Texas Southern.

Rob started working in radio in 2006. He got his first paying gig in the industry in the upstate for Golden Corners Broadcasting in 2007. In 2009, he went to work for Sporting News Radio in Houston Texas. In that position as an Executive Producer he worked with luminaries of the sports media industry like Tim Brando, Steve Czaban, Sean Pendergast and others.

After a memorable stint there, Rob moved onto to work for Tim Brando in Shreveport, Louisiana when that show was distributed on XM's College Sports Nation.

After the stint with Tim Brando, Rob moved back to South Carolina and worked in radio again. He would leave the industry for an opportunity in the private sector.

After a couple of years out of the radio business, Rob missed the business and moved to Western Oklahoma to work for a group of stations there. He served as News and Sports Director for Omni Media. In 2019 , he would leave Oklahoma for Iowa. Rob would serve as News and Sports Director for a 7 station cluster in Fort Dodge owned by Alpha Media.

In the course of his career, Rob has covered major news and sports events. He has had work that has been distributed state and region wide in the Midwest. Rob said of accepting this position with Audacy Greenville " For so many years, I had to forge my career in other areas of the country. It is awesome to get to come home to the Upstate. I am overjoyed to be working back in my home area and being a part of a championship level team like Audacy Greenville. I am grateful for the opportunity, and I can't wait to help the team in any way possible".
