After debating for years, San Jose opened up a community of tiny homes that homeless people can live in temporarily.

The tiny homes are a part of The Mabury Bridge Housing Project and can provide shelter for 40 unhoused people for up to 60 days. During those 60 days, the city will work to find a more permanent place for them to stay.

Habitat for Humanity built the individual micro-homes that measure 80-square feet.
