Rebecca Black joins Shira Lazar and Ryan Mitchell Let's Go There to discuss discovering her queer identity and what being queer means to her. Shira asks the singer and viral sensation if coming out has reshaped how she creates her music. Black says that she has always incorporated her queer identity into her music even before ever coming out. Black states, "I've released songs that are about girls, they just don't know that the song is about girls." Black shares that she believes songs should be interpreted by what they mean to the listener, not necessarily at face value.
