A 31-year-old French woman is serving time in Jail after harrassing a man that she catfished on the dating app Grindr. Not only did Yannick Glaudin stalk the Grindr user, but she also shared his nude photos and videos with his family!
Glaudin met the man she catfished back in 2017. After dating online for six months, the male victim decided to end their relationship once he started to figure out that Glaudin was not who she claimed to be. And that is when the harrassment begin.
After sending his nudes and photos to his friends and family, months later, Glaudin found out that the man she had an online relationship with, had moved on and got a boyfriend. That's when she took the harrasment a step further and made social media accounts spreading rumors about the couple. She also called the Crimestoppers hotline and accused the victim's boyfriend of child abuse, followed them home, gave out their address to other men on grindr, and the list goes on.
Glaudin pled guilty to the charges in 2018 but then fled to France from London. She was brought into custody back in London after a European arrest warrant had her extradited. She was sentenced to 12 months for sending the nude photos, four months for harrassment, and four months for stalking.
