Shirley Manson, the lead singer/ songwriter behind Garbage, joined Jai and Mikalah on the Morning Beat! Watch as Manson discusses her podcast, The Jump. Along with discussing her podcast, Manson delves deep into her sentiments about how women are treated in society. She touches on the pressures that women of all ages face, whether it's feeling too old or being judged by the number of wrinkles on your skin. Manson states, "Society wants young women to not feel their own power." Manson states that worrying about appearances all the time allows young women to buy into toxic societal standards.
