Today on "The Morning Beat", Bachelor Nation's Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon joined AJ Gibson and Mikalah Gordon to share how they feel about the upcoming Bachelor spinoff series "Listen To Your Heart. The new series is set to premiere on Monday April 13th, and will of course be hosted by Chris Harrison.
Iaconetti and Haibon could not be more excited about the new series taking off. Haibon says, "The ratings are going to be through the roof!" The couple believes that because so many shows have paused production while so many people are stuck at home, viewers will be anxious for new content to watch. Haibon says, "Who's not going to watch this!....people are sitting at home waiting for prime time TV."
Finally, Ashley I. and Jared share that they often feel people are so invested in the lives of those in Bachelor Nation that viewers forget that they are real people. Ashley I. says that they often times feel like "characters". The onslaught of commentary and hate that bachelor stars receive online is almost too much to handle at times. After the recent controversy with Tyler Cameron and Hannah B. fans quickly took to social media to jump in on the conversation and got vicious. Haibon says that fans become so passionate that at times "you have to take the good with the bad." Haibon continues by saying, that social media allows viewers to take all the thoughts they are having privately in the living room and broadcast it out on the internet.
