Changing The Game is an award-winning documentary on Hulu follows three transgender high school athletes: Mack Beggs, a male wrestler from Texas, Andraya Yearwood, a track star from Connectitut, and Sarah Huckerman, a skier and policymaker from New Hampshire. Producer Alex Schmider, who is also Director of Trans Media at GLAAD, joins Let's Go There to discuss the importance of this project as a fierce debate regarding the inclusion of transgender athletes in school sports continues throughout the country.
Currently, thirty-three states have already introduced over 100 bills that serve to limit the rights of transgender people in this country, making 2021 the year with the highest amount of anti-trans legislation in history.
