Michelle Young, the lead of Season 18, is ready to find her husband.

During an episode of “Bachelor in Paradise,” ABC teased Young’s upcoming season in an exclusive look. While the trailer begins, Little Mix’s “Bounce Back” plays in the background while the 28-year-old star stuns in a white lace dress.

Young begins to walk into a room filled with tons of flowers before she grabs onto a red rose. She then catches and dribbles a basketball before shooting it and making it into a basketball. The upcoming Bachelorette, who also happens to be a teacher, finally picks up an apple.

At the end of the trailer, she shares what she hopes will happen during her journey to find love.

“I’m looking for someone who’s going to change the world with me,” she says. “I’m ready.”

Young previously competed on Matt James’ “Bachelor” season, which aired earlier this year. She ended the season as the runner-up.

In March, “Bachelor” nation announced that there would be two “Bachelorette” seasons for 2021. Michelle Young and Katie Thurston, two contestants on this past season of “The Bachelor,” came on stage with fill-in host Emmanuel Acho where they both made the announcement.

Young will be the third Black lead to star in “The Bachelorette,” following Tayshia Adams and Rachel Lindsay. While Young was excited, she shared on the episode that she was also anxious about the role.

“I would be lying if I didn’t say when they first told me, I thought we were gonna be the Bachelorette at the same time, and so I was a little nervous,” Young said. “But once I found out it was two different seasons, I was here for it. I’m excited that I get to have somebody to bond over with this and share notes as we go.”
