Adding even more star power to its already wildly talented cast, BLACKPINK’s Lisa will be making her acting debut on the third season of The White Lotus.

Confirmed by HBO on Monday, The K-pop star’s role on the hit HBO anthology series has not been revealed, however we do know she will be credited by her legal name Lalisa Manobal.
Announced alongside two other actors, Scott Glenn and Julian Kostov, Lisa joins the previously announced impressive list of season 3 cast members including Patrick Schwarzenegger, Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Aimee Lou Wood, Nicholas Duvernay, Michelle Monaghan, Walton Goggins, and more. As well as the return of season 1 star, Natasha Rothwell.
Created by Mike White, the Emmy-winning social satire is set to begin filming this month in Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, Thailand. Like the first two seasons, the latest installment will take place at another one of the luxury hotel's exotic locations.
While White is mostly keeping mum about the season 3 storyline, according to a November report from Deadline, its set to feature "a patriarch, a corporate executive, an actress, a couple of mothers, a misfit and a yogi" and more.
And thanks to his conversation he recently had with Entertainment Weekly we also know, “It’s going to be a supersized White Lotus. It's going to be longer, bigger, crazier. I don't know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that's a good thing... I'm super excited about the content of the season.”
