Don't let Bill Belichick's usually modest attire of ripped hoodies and athletic shorts fool you. The Patriots head coach enjoys the fine things in life. Or, at least, he likes to eat expensive pancakes in his hotel room.

Belichick and his girlfriend Linda Holliday stayed at the Loews Regency New York over the weekend and spent $60.97 for a room-service order of blueberry pancakes and coffee, per the New York Post's Page Six. The couple was in the Empire State for the Belmont Stakes, where Justify won and captured the 13th-ever Triple Crown.

Earlier in the weekend, while crazy Gronk rumors were flying, Belichick and Holliday spent some time in Central Park.

Interestingly, while rumors were flying of "something major" going down yesterday and a possible Gronk trade, Belichick was cavorting around NYC and Central Park pic.twitter.com/bDQaLjgpRA

While shelling out $60 for pancakes and coffee may seem ridiculous –– and it most certainly is –– those prices are typical for five-star hotels. The real crime is that Belichick could've ordered something so much better for his money. The classic eggs benedict, for example, is $27 –– just like the blueberry pancakes.

Even though $27 for pancakes is hard to justify, at least Belichick didn't order the $18 selection of cold cereals. That should be considered a crime against humanity.

This is the breakfast menu at the Loews Regency New York, where Bill Belichick spent $60 for pancakes and coffee. To me, the most egregiously priced item is the $18 "cold cereal selection." pic.twitter.com/jyHuRThnF6
