Old friend Kendrick Perkins tried to trip Steph Curry and then got in his face

Imposing ex-Celtics center Kendrick Perkins spends most of his time these days sitting on the Cavaliers' bench in a nice suit. But he still has a knack for agitating the opposition.

At the end of the third quarter of Game 2, Steph Curry missed a free throw and headed back towards the Warriors' bench in front of the Cavs. He walked past most of the players without incident, but then almost tripped over Perks' outstretched feet.

Curry didn't appear to take kindly to the gesture.

This may explain why Curry continued to hurl up three-pointers in the fourth quarter Sunday, even though the game was over. Curry went 9-for-17 from beyond the arc in Golden State's 122-103 victory.

After the game, though, Curry downplayed Perkins' attempted trip. No need for one of the best players in the league to attention to a guy who doesn't dress.

Next time Draymond Green walks by Cleveland's bench, Perkins would be wise to cover his groin. You never know.
