You can say many things about Tim Tebow, but he’s always appeared to be an exceptionally gracious and charitable person. That’s still the case today, even as he makes his way through the East Coast minor league baseball circuit.
The PawSox reunited Tebow Sunday with Patriots fan Zack McLeod, who suffered a severe injury in a high school football game in 2008. McLeod first met Tebow in 2012, when the Broncos visited Foxboro to play the Patriots in the Divisional Round.

June 3, 2019 Zack’s parents, who serve as chaplains at Harvard University, said at the time they were touched by Tebow’s approachability and willingness to pray with them. “(Tebow) grabbed him, and he held him and they prayed together. That to us was the most special part, too, because it was the convergence of their lives. It wasn't just a football story. It's the story that carried them through the drama of their lives," Tammy McLeod told WCVB in 2013.
The Syracuse Chiefs were in Pawtucket for a weekend series. Tebow is currently batting .163 for the Mets’ Triple-A affiliate.
