Los Angeles shocked the sports world Friday night and it wasn’t just thanks to the Clippers signing of free agent star Kawhi Leonard.
Apparently the former Raptor and Spur was a package deal, one that included his new home squad in L.A. trading for fellow superstar Paul George.
While many expected Leonard to land in Los Angeles – either as a Laker or a Clipper – the arrival alongside George sent shockwaves through the basketball world.
Just weeks after the Lakers landed Anthony Davis to pair with LeBron James and subsequently jump up the rankings of NBA title contenders, Leonard and George landing in La La Land has once again gotten Las Vegas odds makers to rethink the basketball hierarchy heading into the 2019-20 season.
