Kirk and Callahan senior producer Chris Curtis traveled to Lawrence Monday morning in pursuit of truth. After ABC News' Michele McPhee tweeted Friday that Hanley Ramirez was "being eyed" in connection to a federal investigation surrouding a drug ring in Lawrence, the Boston Globe reported yesterday that Ramirez is and was not under federal investigation. McPhee stood by her reporting on the story on Kirk and Callahan this morning.
After Curtis and Kirk Minihane uncovered errors in Boston Globe columnist Kevin Cullen's reporting on the Marathon bombings, Curtis put his journalist hat back on and traveled to Lawrence with Intern Evan during Monday's show to see what they could find regarding the case which Ramirez was alleged to be involved in.

— Kirk & Callahan (@KirkAndCallahan) June 25, 2018Alas, it appears our resident investigative reporter's trip to Lawrence was all for naught.
"I haven't gotten any Hanley stuff," he reported on K&C this morning on his ride back. "The issue is that the state police removed the names of the suspects in the search warrant paper work. We are about 20 pages through and we haven't seen one word about a FaceTime."
Asked by Gerry Callahan if the trip was a waste of time, he replied, "I'm not going to say that yet. We haven't gone through all 45 pages."
Minihane hung up on him after the one-minute phone interview.
