-- Tom Brady is prepared for any situation this weekend and that includes being named the NFL MVP.

It appears a copy of Brady’s acceptance speech for the honor was held in plain sight during the team's press conference Thursday.

NFL MVP will be awarded this weekend, but someone was carrying Tom Brady's acceptance speech in plain view of media during Pats presser today.... pic.twitter.com/Oxo2DUKSyJ

A reporter for the Grand Forks Herald took the photo of the speech, if this is actually his real speech. It seems strange that someone would hold his speech like this in public unless it might be some kind of tactic.

Should Brady win the MVP award this weekend, it will be the third of his career.

-- Justin Timberlake spoke to the media ahead of his Super Bowl halftime performance on Sunday and said he doesn’t want his son to ever play football.

Timberlake and his wife, actress Jessica Biel, are parents to 2-year-old Silas and when a reporter asked the singer if he would "support it if [Silas> wanted to run some routes and get in the NFL,” Timberlake shut that down.

"Uh, he will never play football. No, no," he said. “I mean, yeah, it's kind of like that thing where my main objective is that he become a great person. And if he wants to get into the arts or sports, then yeah, I would fully support that. I think I can hopefully offer him some advice on what to do and what not to do, so yeah, but right now we're working on our manners. That's a big deal in our house right now. It's like, one thing at a time."These comments come at a time of growing worry about the safety of youth football players.

Timberlake also responded to Brady listing him as a man crush, saying “the feeling is reciprocated.”

“I actually texted Tom before the conference championship game and said, ‘I’m going to the Super Bowl, are you going to the Super Bowl?’ Schedules always get in the way of ‘bro time’ but Tom’s great,” Timberlake said. “He’s the greatest of all time. Tom’s definitely the type of dude you invite over to watch the Super Bowl with you. The problem is he’s always in the Super Bowl. [But> he’s on my list.”

This will be Timberlake’s first Super Bowl halftime appearance since the infamous “wardrobe malfunction” with Janet Jackson in 2004.
