-- Tom Brady is already getting comfortable on Twitter after his account’s debut on Monday, engaging in a back-and-forth with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
It started when The Rock tweeted to Brady welcoming him to Twitter and informing him of the site’s “dress code” with a picture of himself with Brady’s face over his.
My good friend @TomBrady just texted me and said he’s retiring. What a career! And that he’s also joined @Twitter.Good to see him comply with our dress code. He loves his new fanny pack.. pic.twitter.com/723znQ0DpZ

April 1, 2019 And Brady responded with a picture of Johnson’s face over his draft picture:
I feel like I’m the only one adhering to this dress code you told me about...

-- The AAF experiment is already over.
The Alliance of American Football has folded just eight weeks after it came into existence after league owner Tom Dundon announced on Tuesday he has suspended all operations.
Co-founder Bill Polian said he is “disappointed” by the move.
"I am extremely disappointed to learn Tom Dundon has decided to suspend all football operations of the Alliance of American Football," Polian said in a statement Tuesday. "When Mr. Dundon took over, it was the belief of my co-founder, Charlie Ebersol, and myself that we would finish the season, pay our creditors, and make the necessary adjustments to move forward in a manner that made economic sense for all.”
Johnny Manziel signed with the AAF last month and responded to the news on Twitter, encouraging other players to save their money.
If you’re an AAF player and the league does dissolve. The last check you got will be the last one that you get. No lawsuit or anything else will get you your bread. Save your money and keep your head up. It’s the only choice at this point unless something drastic happens.

April 2, 2019 Just the reality of this unfortunate situation.. great concept, good football on the field and fun for fans to watch. Just not enough money to go around which has been the main problem with “other” leagues for a long time.
— Johnny Manziel (@JManziel2)
April 2, 2019 The league had faced issues since its beginning and reportedly was having problems with its payroll company.
"I sincerely regret that many that believed in this project will see their hopes and efforts unrewarded," Polian also said in his statement. "They gave their best for which I am deeply grateful. Unfortunately, Mr. Dundon has elected this course of action."
"My thanks go out to all who made our football product so competitive and professional," he continued. "I am certain there are many among them destined for future success in the NFL and I look forward to doing all I can to help them in their quest."
