After the Celtics were rumored to be interested in the No. 5 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, Boston stuck with their first pick at No. 14, taking guard Romeo Langford out of Indiana.
Though the 6-foot-6 guard made strides defensively throughout the year, Langford wasn't very efficient offensively for the Hoosiers, shooting 27.2 percent from three. While that leaves room for questions, Langford reportedly played with a torn ligament in his right thumb, which he sustained back in November. (He had it surgically repaired after the season.) So there's a chance there's more to Langford than his numbers show.
