Prior to the Patriots' matchup with the Bills on Saturday, Rich Hill and his wife, Caitlin, were arrested outside Gillette Stadium, according to the Boston Globe.
The ex-Red Sox pitcher was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He intervened when his wife was arrested for disorderly conduct, as well as trespassing after she'd been asked to leave the grounds.
According to the report, the criminal charges were changed to civil charges at the Hills' arraignment on Monday. The charge of resisting arrest was dismissed prior to the arraignment.
