Nothing has officially been stated by the Patriots, but it appears as though they have found their replacement for Joe Judge.

Appearing on a conference call with reporters, new Patriots receiver Marqise Lee made mention of working with a familiar name when referencing his new position coach.

"From the most part I’ve talked to the receiver coach, coach Mick, for the most part," Lee said. "Just tried to stay on top of things."

"Mick" is Mick Lombardi, son of former NFL executive Mike Lombardi. The 31-year-old served as an assistant quarterbacks coach last season after having worked with both the Jets and 49ers.

The position became vacant when Judge was hired by the Giants to become their head coach. Prior to Judge Chad O'Shea was Bill Belichick's wide receivers coach prior to moving on to Miami.
