On Tuesday, Rob Gronkowski and Bill Belichick met and apparently a lot was accomplished.
The tight end announced on social media he will be returning for 2018, and then ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Gronkowski will not be traded.
There were rumors of late Belichick could have been so frustrated with Gronkowski that trading him was on the table, especially with draft week being this week. But, it appears that will not happen.
While there may still be some drama when it comes to Gronkowski and the Patriots organization, it won't be enough to keep him away from the organization.
Gronkowski is 28 years old and coming off one of his best seasons, as he finished with 69 catches for 1,084 yards and eight touchdowns.
