Tom Brady admits his hand isn't where he wants it to be now, but that should change by Super Bowl LII

It's been 11 days since Tom Brady needed 12 stitches in his throwing hand after suffering a cut in practice leading up to the AFC championship.

Brady played in the game and led the Patriots to a come-from-behind win over the Jaguars, but appearing on ESPN prior to the Pro Bowl on Sunday, the 40-year-old admitted his hand isn't exactly where he wants it to be.

"I am still working on it," he said. "It was only 11 days ago when I hurt it, but I think we are in a decent place and hopefully it can get better over the course of the next seven days. I am not quite where I want to be right now, but hopefully by game-time it should be."

The quarterback was a full participant in Friday's practice, which appears to be a good sign.

As for the upcoming week leading into Super Bowl LII, Brady has been here before, so he knows what to expect.

"The important thing is you can't say yes to everything. You can only do so much." he said. "The way you remember the week is by winning the game. It's not about where you can go, or what you can do. For me, it is about what I can do to study and prepare, and be as prepared as I can be mentally and physically so I can be the best I can be for the most important game of the year."

The Patriots will depart for Minnesota Monday morning.
