Mookie Betts' 2019 season hasn't quite been on the same level as his 2018 MVP campaign, but it's still been pretty darn good, and his past week has served as a nice reminder of what he can do when he gets rolling.
On Friday night, Betts blasted two home runs in the Red Sox' win over the Angels, including what proved to be the game-winning shot in the top of the 15th inning. He followed up with three hits Saturday before a couple quieter games, but then he exploded in a big way against the Twins on Wednesday.
Betts hit two home runs on the first two pitches he saw that night and finished the game with four hits and five RBIs. He then jacked another homer Wednesday night, his fifth in six games and 26th of the season.
