The David Krejci offseason continues to take twists and turns.
After the center announced he would be returning to the Czech Republic for the 2021-22 season, some believed that Krejci might be in line for a late-season reunion with the Bruins considering the Czech season ends in April.
Nope.
Speaking at his introductory press conference with his new club, HC Olomouc, Krejci announced that there are no plans to travel back to Boston at the conclusion of his upcoming season.
“I will stay in Olomouc all season, I signed a one-year contract,” Krejci told reporters, via the HC Olomouc club’s website and translated by Google via NESN.com. “I’m not dealing with what’s next at all at the moment, but returning to Boston in the spring is definitely not in the game.”
