The Bruins have hit their first COVID snag, through no fault of their own. The NHL announced Tuesday afternoon that the Bruins' games against Buffalo this coming Saturday and Monday have been postponed as a result of two Sabres players -- Taylor Hall and Rasmus Ristolainen -- entering the league's COVID protocols.

The Sabres played two games over the weekend against the Devils, who now have 10 players on the COVID list amidst one of the biggest outbreaks yet.

The Devils had one player test positive on Friday before the first game and another between the two games, and the Sabres were reportedly "furious" that they weren't given more information about the latter situation.

Four more Devils were then added to the COVID list on Monday, and now two Sabres have followed.

The Devils have had three games postponed through this weekend, and now the Sabres have had four postponed, including the two against Boston.

The Bruins play the Flyers this Wednesday and Friday, and will then have four days off before their next game next Wednesday against the Rangers.
