Bailey Zappe is feeling it. And by "it," we of course mean the 2003 hit song "Stacy's Mom" by American rock band Fountains of Wayne.
Zappe, who began Monday night's game against the Bears as the Patriots' backup quarterback, took over for a struggling Mac Jones in the second quarter with New England trailing 10-0.
Zappe promptly led back-to-back touchdown drives, which included a 30-yard TD pass to Jakobi Meyers and a 43-yard completion to DeVante Parker, to swing that deficit to a 14-10 Patriots lead.
He was clearly feeling pretty good about things, as ESPN's cameras captured him singing along to "Stacy's Mom" when he got back to the bench after the second touchdown.
We'll see if the good vibes continue.
