(670 The Score) Last week, Bears defensive lineman Justin Jones revealed that he would check the inflation of the football prior to Chicago's game against the New England Patriots, referencing the Deflategate scandal back from 2015.

It turns out the footballs passed Jones’ inspection in the Bears’ 33-14 win over the Patriots.
The NFL concluded that former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and New England were found to have deliberately deflated footballs in the AFC Championship Game in January 2015, which they won over the Colts. Brady was suspended four games and the Patriots had to pay a fine of $1 million and were docked two draft picks.
“I heard it’s still going on, so I’m going to check those things before we go,” Jones told Mark Carman of CHGO last week. “I’m so serious. I heard it’s still going on. We’re going to see. I’m for sure checking. Play this game with honesty, man. You know what I’m saying?
“That ain’t cool. I’m going to check them though.”
Jones had two tackles, two pass deflections and a fumble recovery during the Bears’ victory over the Patriots.
