Bill Belichick isn't ready to say.

Speaking afterwards, he was asked if he is ready to name a starter.

"No. We still have a lot of decisions to make," the coach said.

Cam Newton started all three of the preseason games, but rookie Mac Jones has certainly played well enough to deserve a lot of consideration.

It's unclear exactly when Belichick will name a starter, but he does not seem to be in any rush to do it.
