If you're planning on watching the Patriots suit up versus the Packers on Saturday night at Lambeau Field, you may get a look at some of New England's starters.

According to Boston Sports Journal's Greg Bedard, most Patriots are expected to play with "possibly a quarter for starters”.

This report was followed up by ESPN's Mike Reiss saying that they'll "give everyone a taste of game speed". MassLive's Mark Daniels added that "the plan heading into this week was for Mac Jones to play".

Saturday will be our first look at the third-year quarterback running new offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien's offense against a live defense. We'll also likely see free agent acquisition JuJu Smith-Schuster get some run. The seventh year wide receiver has developed a solid rapport with Jones over the last several weeks.

While the Patriots added running back Ezekiel Elliott to the roster this week, Reiss added to his report that it's "probably too early" for the former Cowboy to suit up for game action. New England will likely rely heavily on Kevin Harris and C.J. Marable.

Saturday's game kicks off from Green Bay's Lambeau Field at 8:00 p.m. EST.
